so my sister who is one of my MOH’s is into playing ukulele and has been practicing for awhile now and from the time she started we had a running joke of her playing the ukulele at the wedding, but recently me and Fiance were thinking of how we could get her in there playing it cause we think it would be awesome so we decided that she would be doing it as all the guests came in because we weren’t sure what music we were going to have there and also maybe it will entice everyone to not be loud cause they will want to hear her playing so she found a song… http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sG8jO0FWfCk and she will be singing/ playing the ukulele
i am so excited for it cause i just think it’s a really neat way to put something personal to her in the wedding and i’m so glad she is excited about doing it! so my question is is anyone else having a family member or friend “perform” in their wedding outside of their role as part of the bridal party? and if so what will they be doing? looking forward to seeing anyones unique responses!

That sounds like it’s going to be just great and so much fun! I love unique touches to weddings! 😀

Love it!! Love that personal touch. My family is somewhat musically inclined but will not be performing at the wedding. Was initially thinking of having my older half-brother play guitar for the ceremony but we’re going a different route now.

A friend of mine had the bridal march played on ukulele at her wedding. It was amazing.

@OhwhataJenn: That will be awesome! I want this kid to perform at my wedding http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ErMWX–UJZ4 Lol. Love him. But I am seriously considering having a cousin (an adult), play this song on a ukelele and sing for our recessional.
