I have pretty short hair and am looking for some help or advice regarding hair accessories!
I have been growing my hair out from a pixie cut since we got engaged – we’ve had a fairly short engagement so it is now sort of an inverted bob… similar to this length but maybe a bit shorter. I don’t think it will get too much longer before the wedding.
I am having my hair trial in a few weeks and we will try some different looks, but I’m leaning towards 1920’s-style finger waves.
So my question is… what can I do for hair accessories?? I really want to have something sparkly in my hair. A headband would probably be ideal but they always give me headaches… can my hair support a sparkly comb? I will already have a cathedral-length veil in it, as well.
I am thinking of getting this one but I don’t want to buy it if it won’t work… help! Short haired brides, what did you put in your hair??

I would recommend a headband. Maybe one that has the bling to one side?

I always get headaches from headbands too, but I found one that is really loose. It has to be held to my head with bobby pins, and it sits leaning forward a bit, almost like a tiara, but not as dramatic. Maybe you can find something like that?
If you want to wear the comb, maybe you could put it just above the veil, like Bella in Twilight? (Sorry for the Twilight reference, but her veil/comb combo really worked!)

@likelimeade: Hm… where did you get yours? I really wanted to buy from etsy, because there is cool stuff on there and I prefer to shop online whenever possible, but unfortunately that means I can’t try it on…
I did think of wearing it just above the veil but I’m not sure if that look would work with really short hair. I plan to have the veil fastened up towards the crown of my head, not the back – I just think it looks better that way with short hair!

what about a non-headband headband 🙂 a headband that uses a ribbon instead of the iron thingies? 🙂
