So i want to either do a big white flower or feather headband in my hair. I do not plan to wear a veil. Problem is mom is practically telling me that I am going to have jewels in my hair and that the other stuff may just look silly. I have always been one to wear a big flower, so how can I let my mom down gently and tell her this is what I am going to do. I just don’t want to be bridezilla!

When I think of a bridezilla I think of someone on a power trip that tells everyone else what to do and how to do it. Deciding what you want in hair is your decision to make, not bridezilla at all. I’m going to go the big white flower look too and I think it’s much more “me” than a veil or jewels.

I think you should do a trial with your hair both ways and show them both to your mom. Then just tell her that you like the one with the flower better. I’m sure when she sees how happy the style you want makes you, she’ll agree.

The only thing I could think of that she might like is a big flower with bling in the middle like this. That way you both could maybe be happy?

Do what you want girl! Putting a hair accessory in your hair on your wedding day (that you WANT) definately does NOT make you a Bridezilla!! It will look beautiful!
@Nola- looove that hairpiece!!
