So the other day a bridesmaid asked me if I care if she wore her hair up or down and if we were going to get make up done together etc…But to tell you the truth I haven’t thought that far ahead yet because I don’t even have a dress yet! I know that usually everyone gets ready together but I’m weird. I’m usually a loner and I like my peace and quiet and I kinda don’t want too much fussing going on around me on the day of. Is it wrong to have them come over all ready? Or would it be good for them to have hair/make up done and then they could all put their dresses on with me and have a drink?
So bees, are you setting, ‘rules’ on how your bridesmaids do their hair and make up?? And for the day of will all of you be getting ready together?? Let me know!!

No i originally wanted to be able to ask what they want to get but, they are old enough to make decisions themselves. Unless of course you wanted them all matching in everyway.
My Maid/Matron of Honor wants to wear a waterfall braid in her hair the same as my younger girls (daughter and step daughter) But i’m paying $120 for her hair and make up to get done. I don’t think that it’s worth the hair dresser doing a simple waterfall braid for that price. I’d rather her get something more elaborate.
I’m 2 months away from my wedding and we have only just now got the bridesmaid dresses and have thought about hair and makeup. I also like my piece and quiet.

im thinking my bridesmaids hair will be all down but the styling (straight, curly, wavy) is up to them. But I would like their hair down. Makeup….one of my bridesmaids is a makeup artist so shes going to do everyones makeup and thats pretty much going to match. and shes doing mine 🙂

I am thinking that for my girls that there hair will be the same. This is only because i am letting them chose the dress they want as long as they are same colour length and material and i would like them to be tied together in other ways like shoes hair and jewellery.

I’m letting my girls do whatever they want for their hair. If they want to get it done professionally, they’ll have to pay for it, but I’m totally ok with them doing it themselves, or having my sister do it (she’s a hairstylist. She’s not doing my hair, because she’s my Maid/Matron of Honor and I thought that would be too much stress on her, but she’s offered up her services to my girls, and the mothers as well).
I honestly don’t care. My girls aren’t clones, they all have different body and hair and I just want them to feel pretty.
The make up is a bit different. I’m having mine done at the salon, and I’m offering to pay for professional make up if they want. But none of my girls want it, so I’m excited about that haha.
As for the getting read, we’re all staying in a hotel suite together, and they’re mostly from out of town. If they don’t want to come to the salon with me, they don’t have to though. Then we’ll go back to the hotel suite, do the at home hair and make up for the maids and mothers, and get ready together.

My girls can do whatever style they want. My Maid/Matron of Honor has expressed interest in having some sort of updo with a braid. I am paying for all 5 girls hair and they can either do their own makeup or have my MUA do it (or I will, I do makeup as well 🙂

I’ve got close friends in the hair/makeup fields so they’re giving me a killer discount so we’re getting ready together with my bridesmen/brideswomen.
I’m also just a giant nerd and really looking forward to a last sleepover, dancer party with them as a single girl. : )
