Brides, are you having your photographer(s) capture photos of you getting your hair and make-up done?
I want those pictures, but I’m getting married in kind of a remote hotel/spa (that doesn’t offer salon services) and there are no nearby salons. So I’m thinking I may have to cut those pictures and just get pictures of me getting into my dress and jewelry, etc.
Married bees did you get getting ready photos? If not, do you miss them?

it will not be a big deal i promise! I got ready at a hotel and it was beofre my photogrpher was scheduled to show so we only took pictures at the venue in the bridal get ready room (that they only gave us for 30 min) of me putting on lipstick, mom putting my pearls on, and getting my dress on. honestly, any more get ready pictures would have been too many. Best of luck! 🙂

No. It doesn’t interest me to do those photos.

I had a few done of my hair being done but my photographer went to the venue when I started my makeup. They aren’t my favorite pictures. I love them, but it didn’t mean that much to get them photographed since I hated my hair anyway.

I wanted those pictures done as well but I am probably going super early to get it done and I only have my photographer booked from 8 hours so I don’t want to run out of time. My Maid/Matron of Honor and I thought it would be best if someone can just take pictures randomly with their own camera.

My photographers came when I already had my hair done but was in the middle of getting my make-up done. They caught some great shots of me and my girls getting ready and I feel like it gave a more complete picture of the whole day.
Is there any opportunity for a hair and makeup artist to come to you on your wedding day? That’s what we did and it was aweosme!

I was glad that my photographer took getting ready photos. I wanted to capture all of the details. It was also nice to see getting ready photos of my husband.

We will be having getting ready photos, but all of our hair and make up will pretty much be done by then. we will take some staged photos of me putting lipstick on, or the MUA putting blush on, but whats more important to me is getting the detail shots (dress, invites, rings, etc), getting pictures with my girls all of us in robes, getting pictures with the moms, and a mini first look with me and my dad.

These sorts of photos aren’t a “must have” for me. I know what time our photographer is arriving to do photos of me getting into my dress and with family and the like, but I won’t be booking my hair stylist/make up artists in around this. They will probably be there at the same time, as there are 3 bridesmaids and a junior bridesmaid also wanting professional services (plus possibly my step mother and grandmother), but it all gets done when it gets done lol.
