OMG you have to go with a trial.  I’m not a hair/makeup person either and because of that, it means we’re more picky.  I had to make my makeup person do 7 different looks because she kept using too much makeup for me.  I looked like a circus clown because I’m so used to looking natural.  She said it was ok and that the overwhelming majority of girls who wear minimal makeup require the most amount of trials due to not being used to seeing what they look like with makeup.

If you never wear makeup or do your hair, I would definitely do a trial. Often, when people are not used to wearing makeup, even a little bit looks like it is too much. The trial will allow you to be comfortable with wearing makeup and see how you will look in photos.

If anything, *because* you don’t wear makeup regularly you should do a trial. Then you can figure out what you like and don’t like and what works or doesn’t work on you. You also might need to get used to seeing yourself with makeup so you’re comfortable day of.

if you don’t wear makeup all the MORE reason to go seeing how you have no clue what you like/ don’t like. What if she makes you look wayyyy too heavy? What if you think you like a particular style on another model/ girl but it looks not so hot on you…

for those who do wear makeup on a regular basis we know what we like or what we think looks good…

@ssilva1:  ok then you can’t say you “never” wear makeup because that’s what we based advice on. Unless your friend IS your makeup artist, you should still get one.

Although- if you refuse its because you’ve already made up your mind in which case- why ask what you should do.
