If you are asking them to do hair and make-up, you should cover everything instead of tip, I believe.

I also believe its fine to be part of a gift, but not the whole gift for a Bridesmaid or Best Man, so if you are giving jewelry too, then great.

I would ask at least one more person what it would cost for hair and makeup if they came to do to see if its a good price, but it sounds good.

I would have loved to have my hair and make up done! The bride got the Bridal Party jewelry which was nice, but I only wore it for the wedding and it has never been worn again. I mean why is jewelery for the wedding considered a gift when hair and make up for the wedding isn’t?

I would rather have pictures to look back on with my hair and makeup looking fab than have pictures of a necklace and earrings that ended up going to good will.

Just my opinion. 🙂

You know your girls best, if they would love to be pampered I would go for it!

Many agree with me, and many don’t.

Gifts to BM’s should be gifts, not hair and M/U for your wedding. It’s very nice of you to pay… and you ‘should’ if you’re requiring it. But you ‘should’ also give them gifts that are not wedding related.

@Nicoley1985:  I’m getting married at Hotel Bethlehem 11/7/14 … Trying to look into salons in the area. It makes me nervous hearing about bad reviews within the area. Would you mind sharing what stylist you went with and would u recommend them? How did you like the experience doing hair and makeup in the room? I have 6 bridesmaids so it makes me worry about space.  Thanks!
