I just googled makeup artists in my area, found my MUA’s webpage and went by the pictures she had up there. I did a trial with her for hair and makeup and I loved how my makeup turned out in pictures, so I decided I’m going to stick with her. I’m going to ask for a bit less foundation, but other than that I am happy!

I used Angie Williams for both hair and makeup and she was fabulous. The only thing that really narrowed down my search was that I looked for makeup artists that offered airbrushed makeup because normal makeup just won’t stay put for more than a few hours on my face. I looked at a lot of different artists, but Angie’s the only one I actually scheduled a trial with and loved her, so I booked her.

I’m going with Jenny at wearepaperdolls.com.  She’s been great at communicating, and had fair prices.  I have my trial next Friday, so we will see how it goes.

@HobbyLobbyist:  Well, I had my trial.  If you want to take a look…

I really liked Jenny as a person she was awesome and my makeup looked fabulous.  I wasn’t too sure on the hair though, and ended up changing it a bit.  (which I ended up not liking the way it looked in picutres…go figure)

    hair and Makeup trial….please critique
