I had my hair and makeup trial this past weekend, and as someone who doesn’t where a lot of makeup, I was very happy with the results! Unfortunately, the curls in my hair only lasted about 3 hours before becoming almost completely straight, and I had to wash the make-up off soon after that because I’m not used to so much on my face, and the heat was making the makeup melt. Any advice on how to make the curls last (in high heat and humidity nontheless!) or how to get used to the makeup?

I just recently started curling my own hair for special occassions and I had to load on the hairspray, but it stayed!

To get use to the make up I would try a few days on the weekend to wear more than you normally do and see what happens, I touch my face a lot, so I have been trying to do this and remind myself if I touch it on my wedding day it will get ruined.
As for the hair I would call your stylist and let her know what happened. She may be able to reccomend some styling products for before you come in to get your hair done and that way she can be prepared to really get it to stay.

@almostaustin: All I can say for the curls is hairspray. I’m talking a can full or so…maybe some gel or mousse before?
For the makeup, gradually start putting more and more on until you’re wearing almost as much as you will be fore the wedding.
