ljm308 : no offense taken. I should have gotten them done before I had the trail. I used to get them done when I was in college but have been embracing the bush for the past few years. I plan to get them done soon and then again before the wedding.

I also agree with cleaning up your brows a little underneath. You have amazing eyebrows btw!!
I don’t necessarily think your makeup needs to be heavier-just done a different way honestly. She didn’t use any highlighter to accent your cheekbones or eyes. The eye makeup is much too dark on the lids & looks as if she only did one color-brown? I have nothing against bronze shadow but there needs to be some depth/dimension to the eye makeup. I also think the little amount of blush that she did use is too dark. Im just surprised that a makeup artist wouldn’t utilize this basic understanding of highlighting/shadowing.
Def need more height with the hair otherwise it’s very pretty!

Wow, okay, everyone slow down.
OP- you are beautiful! Look at that jaw line, that smile, those brows! You are a goddess!!
-Love the hair, could use a bit more height
-I like the headpiece, but perhaps further back on the head.
-I like the darker lip.
-The falsies will add a lot, so keep that in mind when looking at whether or not the eyes are dramatic enough.
-Personally I would ask for more under eye concealer. But I go way overboard on this. I’m not happy until my under eyes don’t show even a hint of blue/bags.
I think with a couple of subtle changes, you can look like the “you” that wears minimal makeup while still accentuating your natural beauty! Please still feel confident and beautiful, because you ARE!

I think you’re gorgeous! Other bees have given some good opinions. I love the hair and hairpiece – agree about volume on top, although I only noticed it in the pics without the headpiece on. Getting your brows and eyelashes done is going to make a huge difference too (I couldn’t stand my fake lashes and pulled them off before the ceremony, but I added HEAPS of mascara back on instead lol). I really prefer the darker lipstick – it somehow brings out the colour of your eyes. If you don’t like that one I’d find another you do like that still brings a bit of colour. I totally understand about not usually wearing makeup – I told my first makeup artist I wanted it VERY light and natural and she caked on so much I looked 10 years older and cancelled my booking on the spot! But I think you could take a little more blush and highlighter without looking too done.

You look great!
Personally, I would add a little more blush and highlighter and then add liquid eyeliner for the lash line and some liner for waterline.
I would also define my eyebrows a little more or add some highlighting under to give that effect off.

your brows are great! skinny brows are out, go for HD brows if you must and don’t let them make them thin!

Hmm, your skin looks dull. Makeup should brighten it not dull it! It just doesn’t look professionally done IMO. Hair is good but not at all digging the hair piece.

I love your hair but i would move the head piece a little so it is not at your hair line exactly. I know you said you don’t normally wear makeup so if your are comfortable with this, go for it! If it were me I would do a little bit more of everything so that it really pops. As my MUA said at my trial, this is your day to be EXTRA! lol You look gorgeous either way, go with what you feel is right.

teacher-bee-in-the-sea : the hair is gorgeous, with it I would pair a light is colored eyeshadow, maybe with some shimmer, sheer lip color and a touch of higlighter.

It’s all in the eyebrows. You wax and shape your eyebrows and this will make a HUGE difference.

+1 on eyebrow waxing/threading
I also think the hair looks uneven and flat. It looks great on the one side, and the other side you look a bit bald. The curls look REALLY good though.

Hair is good but it looks like you have no make up on ;/

Btw your dark features are beautiful: brows and your hair is gorgeous.
The hair, volume on top, it looks flat.
More makeup, it looks too subtle.
