I think thats a cool idea. At least you will look all sorts of pretty for the pics that will be taken at your shower!

Sure. Why not? I guess it could depend on the shower but who cares? You’re the bride, if you want to look more dressed up, do it.

sunflower22:  If you don’t care about surprising people and it’s not a super formal up-do I say go for it! I would do the same. Then you won’t have to worry about doing your hair or makeup either. Sounds like a win-win.

I had my makeup trial the morning of my shower. Everyone was giving me compliments on my makeup at my shower so it was a good way to see if it wasn’t too dramatic or anything.

sunflower22:  I did this, I had her change up my hair a little bit at the end so it didn’t look exactly like my wedding hair.  I also had her tone down the make up a little bit at the end because my shower was a brunch in June and my wedding will be a formal night time wedding in November.  She was more than happy to tweak my look a little bit.

I’ve heard of people doing this and I think it’s a good strategy. I scheduled my hair and make up trial the same day I did a boudoir photoshoot for my husband’s gift.
