Agree with your changes. Eyeshadow colour isn’t working for me. And something about the side profile of your hair looks dated. It needs to be looser, with more coming down, and maybe not such a bouffant.

Agree with all the changes as well! I mean when it comes down to it you are paying someone to do what you want for your wedding day, so just tell them exactly like you told us! It shouldn’t be a big deal.

I agree with your changes, the eyeshaddow causes some flashback.
You look stunning through! Your hair would look amazing if it were a little more relaxed and ‘beachy’ too xx

Agree with your changes. The eyeshadow is having a slight reverse-panda effect, and I would do more loose hair around your face, and reduce the bump on top (I never like those bumps though). The rest of your makeup is great and your hair from the back is gorgeous!
Absolutely do not worry about telling your stylist of the changes. That is the entire point of the trial so please speak up. You are only asking for some very simple changes. Your stylist will be happy to get some feedback because they want you to be the happiest you can be, it’s in their own professional interest to get it just right and you can help them do that. Don’t worry that you told them you loved it at the time, everyone does that!! Just say that after thinking about it at home you’ve found a few changes you’d like to make.

You are looking pretty. I loved your hair style. Make fluffy hair style from the front that adds a bit volume to your hair. I agree with you about your changes.

briannalane94 : I had ‘in hinesight’ changes for my MUA and she took it really well. I agree with your changes especially if you are going for a bold lip. I think it should be one or the other: eyes or lips 😊

I agree with your changes and love the hair. Braids can look a little prom ish to me so try it out before the day. For your eyes go a little more neutral if you’re doing a bold lip like that. As other PPs said: I’m getting flashbacks from the eyeshadow lol.
Also remember your hair will wear on the day of, so while it’s very put together at the moment it has to be so you don’t look a mess by the end of the night.

Honest opinion, its screaming late 90s/early 2000s prom to me.
I think the biggest problem is the shadow. Maybe a copper color would be better?

I love your hair actually. I wouldn’t make the curls looser, only because they’ll already loosen up as the day goes on. If you make them too loose initially your hair will be completely straight.
I agree with pps about the eyeshadow. You are so pretty but its just not doing it for me.
I would just text them today, and say something like “hey! So I loved everything intially, but getting home and wearing it for a few hours I think I’d like to change: ” Totally not a big deal.
The only thing I changed after my trial (or at least told them) was that I rub my nose a lot, so by the end of the night I had a rudolph look going on haha. So she was like “oh no problem, we’ll do a different primer and concealer on that area for you”.

It’s no biggie at all. If you don’t tell her, she won’t know.
That said, the eyeshadow isn’t working with that lip and most importantly, the lashes are hanging down at the outer edges, dragging down your beautiful eyes so I would ask her to center them or trim them so they don’t do that. With your eyes, you need a little smudged liner swoop going up at an angle at the outer edge, not lashes hanging down.
The shadow and liner should go up at an angle to meet your brow (if an invisible line were placed there, not suggesting you actually see the two meet) – brow shouldn’t emphasize the drag down.
Make up is about correcting and emphasizing first, esp when photography is involved. So focus on that eye area – your eyes are just gorgeous, doe-eyed chocolate loveliness. A properly placed lash will make a world of difference.
I don’t feel like the rest of the make up is making the most of your face, but I’m not sure what direction you gave her so I don’t want to nitpick. If you came to me, I would tell you let’s do smoky gorgeous drama eyes and a lighter lip for your wedding. Because your eyes. Well. They’re show stoppers. But everyone has their thing, and if you like the bolder lip best, no worries.
ETA: a toned down version of Ariana grande’ s eyes and the rest on point – same lips etc

I agree with PP – your hair is wonderful (don’t loosen the curls!), and you are so pretty! Just change that eyeshadow color, please! Way too bright. Congrats, bee! You look stunning!

Hair looks good, your changes seem good too.
agreeing with PP on the makeup. definitely change up the eyeshadow, it’s flashback to late 90’s early 2000. too much frost. I think the foundation is a shade too light for your tone. or maybe its the lighting? maybe some bronzer?
I’d also play with lip color. the one you have is fine, it doesn’t look bad, but it doesn’t highlight anything either. more nude/pink? depends on what you want your focal point to be: eyes, cheeks, lip?
you’re almost there! yay!

Agree with all the changes you want and the eyeliner needs to be changed! That eyeliner shape is making your eyes look very droopy. The wing is starting way too low. Congrats!

briannalane94 : You look stunning. I had a hair and makeup trial. At the time I thought everything was great. After reviewing the pictures I told the makeup artist and hairdresser I wanted a few small changes after thinking about it. Before you start your hair or makeup just say Hey I have been thinking about the hair and makeup and I want to make some small changes. Say what you like and then say but I want to do this and do that. They shouldnt have a problem with it. The day of I told my makeup artist. I actually wanted to make two changes I want to make my blush a little more pink and a little less bronzy and I also want to make my eyeline slightly darker on the top lid. She was like no problem cool.
