Had my makeup trial today, and my hair trial last week. Posting both so you guys can get a better idea of what they would look like together! Is there anything I should change? Suggestions? Thanks!

Results from my hair trial:
Overall I’m pretty pleased with both although I do think I want my eye makeup a bit darker, and maybe brows more filled in? They look very light to me!
Also hair I think a little less structured and more volume!

I think you look beautiful! Overall I like that it looks so light and airy – though I agree with you on the eyebrows, they could be filled in a little more. I think your hair is lovely and I love the pink shade on your lips. 🙂

Definitely think you know what needs to be changed! I agree that you should get the brows filled in more and darker eye makeup. Although, a suggestion – maybe get a slightly darker lip color while you’re at it to match the eye makeup? (if you go darker)
Love the hair updo but i think it needs to be loosened with more volume to look like your inspo picture.

Love the makeup!! I agree that the eyeshadow needs to be a bit darker. And I’d add some eyeliner-IF you want! Your left eyebrow is crooked, but they can fix that with makeup. Also agree with PP to go with just a touch darker lip color.
Hair looks beautiful, and I wouldn’t change a thing! Volume, if wanted, but I still like it as-is, too!

keirel : yes I agree. I’m not one to talk with my own jacked up trial today lol but I think a darker crease is a good idea.
Also I always suggest a more red/brown lip instead of pink. It can still be lighter and neutral, I just think it ties everything together.
Your hair is beautiful! Also you are overall beautiful so you look great regardless
Edit: I agree about brows being a little darker too but take my opinion with a grain of salt because my eyebrows are a little nuts lol

I like the light color eyeshadow. I think it looks fresh. I think the trial came out nicely and wouldn’t’ve changed anything but after reading the posts, I agree on filling in the brows a bit more. You look gorgeous!

I actually like your hairstyle better than the inspiration photo, which looks kind of messy.

Love your hairstyle! I do think your eye makeup could be a touch darker – I had a lifestyle photo shoot the other week, and thought my MUA might have taken me a bit dark in the eyes, but in the photos it looks perfect.

You look beautiful! I wouldn’t change anything but punch up the eyes a little bit with a smoked out upper eyelid line and some individual lashes on the outer thirds of your eyes and a wee bit of eyebrow management, but I wouldn’t go insta clown with it.
I love the lip color on you and how fresh and healthy your skin looks. This is the classic bridal look, it shows that your MUA knows what she’s doing that she didn’t pile on the make up.
Professionals understand what the camera sees without ten thousand filters on it. you’re going to look beautiful and the pictures will work forever.

brittnamrogo : You look gorgeous! I usually open up these trial posts expecting to make a lot of suggestions, but the only ones would be a tad darker on the eyes like a PP said. I personally like darker lip color, but I think the neutral pink looks great on you and keeps everything light. Your MUA did a great job!

Thanks so much everyone! This was actually after I ” fixed” a few things… My makeup artist used fake eyelashes that I instantly ripped off cause they looked SO ridiculous (like border line cross dresser) and I also wiped off my lip colour, which she had made a bubble gum pink.. so in these photos I have no lip colour on!
I may opt for a darker lip colour as well but you are all right, I thought my eye makeup was relatively heavy until I took pictures and it barely showed. ( but my usual makeup routine consists of mascara and Chapstick, so I think maybe I’m just not used to really seeing what I look like in full makeup) I’ll make sure to ask for a darker colour! Thanks everyone 🙂

Hair is perfect. For makeup I might go a little bolder with the eye makeup (a tad darker and definitely add falsies) and maybe a tad darker on the lip as well.
I just read that you took off your falsies! Haha. I think you should still wear them, just ask for a lighter pair or do individual false lashes.

msladyk81 : I actually usually have eyelash extensions but they’ve almost all fallen out, since it’s been a month since my last appointment! I’m going to get them filled tomorrow though so hopefully they’ll have the same effect as “lighter” false lashes haha. I didn’t like the false lashes she used because they were waaaay too filled and basically just made my eyelids look black (and they were so long they were covering almost half my eyebrows LOL)

Wow, I think it all looks good! I’ve never seen someone’s hair look so close to the inspiration picture!! They did an amazing job with it!

Totally agree that your eyes and brows should be a bit more defined. Don’t want to get washed out in photos. But overall love the look! Very natural and romantic. And the hair is lovely! I wouldn’t give up too much structure for volume, unless your sure it will stay out and not fall apart on you through the day. I think it looks perfect but I know the inspo pic was way more voluminous. Just don’t go overboard and have an updo that won’t survive the night.
