Had my hair and makeup trial yesterday. Some things to keep in mind:
-it was late, we had to go outside for photos but it was actually dusk out in these pictures
-no, she wasn’t doing my makeup outside, I just asked her to take out some of the eyeshadow that was on the outside of my eyes so she was touching that up
-there was no product at all in my hair (no hairspray), but there is a donut and 3 smallish peices of hair extentions in
My Questions are, do the lashes look uneven, or is that just my eye shape? I do have one eye thats smaller than the other. Also I’m not sure I love the lip color, but don’t know what I would do instead. For the hair, I just feel like it might be a little too messy? Also not enough volume, but there is no hairspray and she reassured it would look bigger the day of. The colors of the wedding are Sangria, Blush, Green and Ivory. BM’s are in Sangria. My dress is a lace mermaid. Thoughts are welcome!

Maybe I don’t have a good eye but I think you look freaking ridiculously fabulous. The hair doesn’t look too messy to me at all. I’d LOVE my hair to look like that on my wedding day :). May even show a picture to my stylist. The one eye does seem to have more lashes or something but it also could be lighting/eye shape.

I think you look great! I think the slight awkward eyelashes could be from the angles, or a really long day…nothing to fret over in my opinion!
Personally I prefer a more bold lip color, nude isn’t really my thing since I’m deathly pale, but I think it looks great on you!
Your hair is FAB! I have thin baby doll hair and would KILL to have thick hair like yours!
You’re totally gorgeous!

I really like everything about the look, including that lip color! I think the lashes look fine, it might just be the angle because you can clearly see, on your left eye, the lashes clearly, and on the right eye you can see them peeking through but not over as much skin from your lid. I hope that made sense. The hair is really pretty too, but I agree some added volume at the crown would be nice. You’re gorgeous!

You look gorgeous! I can see what you mean about the lashes, though, and if you don’t normally notice this about your eye shape when you look at yourself in the mirror, the strip was probably just applied wonky. Also, FWIW, I think you could get away with a thicker, fuller strip. You have pretty eyes and it would really make them pop. I wore these on my wedding day and they were ridiculous in the best way possible: https://velourlashes.com/?a=shop&productId=122887868&ref=minkLashes

You look just gorgeous! I thinkt the lashes has to do with your eye shape, specifically how your eye creases are different and affecting the way the lashes show up. Your lips look wonderful, if you’re feeling a little bolder perhaps one with some sheer berry/sangria tones in it could make it pop a bit more? I think your hair looks fabulous as well. Are you going to do any veil or crown? It’ll really look better with a bit of volume, I like the messy look and only think it would make a bit more contrast if you pulled out a couple shorter pieces to frame your face with loose curls if you had side bangs. But really, looks like a wonderful trial run to me!

I think maybe she didn’t apply the right eye lashes correctly, but it could be just your eye shape. The lip color is great. I think you need more blush. Your hair looks good too.

You look beautiful! It looks like a very successful trial. I do agree with you about the eyelashes though. I don’t think she applied them evenly (you can see the line from them on the left eye as opposed to the right where they’re applied closer to your natural lash line). I know you said you were unsure about the lipstick – I think the color looks great on you. You could go a little brighter if you wanted.

you’re so sweet, thank you!
thank you! my hair is fine but I have A TON of it. I agree, I don’t want to go any more nude than this shade.
that makes total sense! and in some pictures they seem even, so you’re probably right about the angle.
Those lashes are a game changer! And I had no idea there were Mink eyelashes out there. I’ll look more into them for sure. I def. notice my eye shape is not even, so it wasn’t a total surprise to me they looked off, but I’ve never had falsies before so I wasn’t sure if they should be applied to compensate for uneveness.
Thats what I was thinking! more of a berry tone maybe. I think its time for a trip to sephora. Thanks for the hair feedback, I agree face framing pieces make such a big difference, I will share that with her.
thanks so much!

wow I love it! you are one pretty lady! Only thing I would recommend is more blush to accent your cheeks. Thats def lacking. Otherwise I love it all!

& For the hair day of I know you said you didnt have any spray or anything in your hair but I would ask for a bit of a bump in the back to give it volume, that would look great & would help avoid the bun looking too heavy or weighing down the rest of your hair.

More blush, slightly darker lip color (I would go to Sephora or Nordstrom and just try on some lip colors and see what you like on yourself), make sure the lashes aren’t wonky day of (I don’t think it’s the angle; get feedback from the other people in the room since it seems neither of you caught it at the time). Those are easy fixes that totally don’t require another trial or anything! The shadow is gorgeous, your skin is gorgeous, I like the contour she did. I think you got yourself a good artist! 🙂 I like your hair too!
