I actually think it looks very nice. You look like you have hooded eyes so even if you had more color on your lids, it wouldn’t really look like it. Maybe ask her to smudge the liner on the lid to give a more smokey look. Also, add some more blush, it’s not showing in the pics. I like the lip color but you seem to want a more berry color based on your inspiration picture.

Yea…I would say give them a shot! They have multiple makeup lines, so they might be able to suggest a foundation that gives good coverage without making you feel like it’s caked on (even though in the pictures it didn’t at all!) I think you should definitely give another artist a shot though…Not everyone realizes that for wedding pictures you want the makeup to be applied heavier than the every day makeup you might wear, so that it shows up in pictures. Definitely don’t settle for a makeup you think is ehh…You want to make sure that you’re happy with it! PM me if you have any questions! I’m a bridal makeup artist, so I would be happy to help you with any questions you might have before going in! 🙂

Sephora is a good option! and affordable too. Also, a lot of those who work there freelance on the side so if you had time, you could talk to the people who work there and see if they could do your makeup

Sephora is a great option especially for the type of look in your inspiration photo. Take that picture in and tell them what you want. If you can find someone that is a VIB Rouge like me they can take you and you can get your make up done for free.

Why not go with the woman who did your engagement pic make up?

She is 2 hours away and she would be working at her normal job that day. So it would probably cost me $$$ to compensate her for a full day when she’ll only be working on me for an hour or so.

It is a level of frequent purchasers at Sephora. They get special perks like free make up and beauty consults.
