(Closed) Hair and makeup trials gone wrong – am I expecting too much?

I haven’t gotten into this yet but I thought the whole point of a trial was to figure out what works and what doesn’t…so if you didn’t like it, I would’ve thought they would redo it into something you DID like too. Maybe we’re both wrong though. Either way, I’d probably go with new stylists for both if neither made you happy. You really really don’t want to regret those 2 things looking at pictures later!

distressddamsel:  I wouldn’t stay with  stylist who didn’t listen to what I wanted and wasn’t willing to work on hair/makeup until it was what I wanted.

distressddamsel:  Definitely look for someone else. You should look perfect on your wedding day, and it doesn’t sound like either of these women care about making that happen.

I would shop for people who agree to make you look how YOU want to look.

Also- I would DEFINITELY bring photos to your next trials. I brought tons of makeup and hair photos to both of my trials and they were able to replicate the looks exactly. These photos can be incredibly helpful to stylists, instead of trying to figure out what you want based on what you are verbally asking for.
