So I JUST got back from the salon and after a very much botched, totally never going to that salon again, color/cut job yesterday, I am now a blonde! Haven’t had a full head of blonde in probably 4 years. Decided needed a change for summer!
One question, though. Should I stay a blonde for the wedding, or go dark again? I was thinking if I was going to go back to a brunette I’d throw in a couple highlights here and there to add to it.
I don’t have a recent picture, but this one is a good rep. of what my hair looked like before the color:

And now:

I think you look fabulous either way! Choose which one you will be more comfortable with. I just looked at your wedding date and since its in december, in Manitoba, brunette would be a better contrast with all the snow 🙂

Although both look great, I love how you look with dark hair better.

You look great both ways, but I think your skin tone works better with brown hair… You could also do some highlights with the brown hair if you can’t decide between the two.

I like both too but maybe brunette with just a little bit of highlights would look nice as well. 🙂

Thanks everyone! I really liked that brunette I had in the first pic, back in ’07 or so. I think I might go with the dark brunette with some highlights. Couple years ago, it was a nice dark, warm brunette with highlights underneath the first layer, so they nicely peaked through when it was down and showed more when I put it up. REALLY liked it and am leaning towards that.
@beachcandy: Good call on the contrast, IF we have snow. Never know when it’ll come here!! May be October, may be end of December. Hoping for a long fall, though, for us farmers because of all the shit-ass weather thats left us with VERY wet land and therefore late seeding.

I prefer the brunette on you, but the blonde looks nice too. I dye my hair, and tend to go for warmer, darker shades during the winter and cooler, lighter during the summer, so my instinct is to say go with the brunette for a December wedding.
