Hello all,
I am 35 days out until wedding day. I have virgin, non color treated hair. Since I wear my hair up 99.9% of the time my roots are darker and the ends are lighter from natural sunlight. as well as near my forehead. I would like to enhance the way my hair looks on my wedding day. I have decided to either do an all over color with balayage just to make all areas one solid color plus the balayage towards the middle and ends or to just do the balayage itself. I have medium to dark brown hair and in doing this I don’t want anything too blonde. I just want to add some dimension, shine and fresh color to it. Has anyone done this? Also, WHEN should I do it? I want to give the color to settle a little beforehand so if anyone can offer some advice that’d be so helpful. I used to color my hair all of the time but about 6 years ago I gave it up and went all natural with my hair. So, I know some of the initial shock that can occur when you make changes to your hair but I feel like my hair now is just flat and lifeless. ALSO! I have considered doing a gloss treatment as well to just give it that extra shine. Has anyone else done this? If so, what were the results? Thanks in advance!
