I can’t decide whether I want my hair down or up for my wedding. Down is how I usually wear it and I love it, but up feels so bridal and elegant. However, My dress is very fairytale-esque and I feel like down suits it better. Here’s a pic of my hair up, down and my dress. Please let me know thoughts 🙂
ps this is my dress and veil – its a cathedral length veil so keep that in mind with hair 🙂

I usually prefer wedding hair down, especially when it’s luscious and long, but I have to say, yours would be gorgeous up. Your dress is gorgeous and kind of “busy” (in a good way!), and I think setting it off with hair up keeps it from looking like too much is going on visually. It will elegantify (sure, we’ll make that a word) your look even further.
I also really like your hair up in the first picture, in that you don’t have tendrils or long curls hanging off. I think it looks best smooth and sleek and elaborately done up!!

lparis12: Definitely up! It looks kind of undone to have it down with that dress. I don’t get a fairytale vibe with your dress. I don’t mean that as a slight, I’m just thinking that might be a feeling you get rather that something others will take from your look.
You’ll want a soft up do. Because you’re going for cleavage you don’t want your hair pulled back too severely. It wouldn’t work.

I like it up. But if you don’t plan on wearing the veil all night I think it would look better down.

It looks gorgeous either way, but my vote is for up! It looks very elegant and will suit your dress very well!

Maybe up for the ceremony and down for the reception look. Win/win
