Ulta has their Ultra CHI on sale and its amazing as I have one myself!! For $50 off the usual price and FREE shipping right now, I’d totally buy another one!! They are great for frizzys and leave your hair nice and silky , and did i mention they last FOREVER!!!?? I have hair just like yours also if that helps! If its too spendy, I would go with a Hot Tools Ionic dryer! Hope this helps!

Mine got old and started shooting sparks at me… I’ve been afraid of them ever since. I’ll PM you the brand it was.

@Mrs. Bonnie Blue: i really like it. i don’t know much about blow driers but two of my closest friends are hair stylists and its what they use. i have a con air as a back up (i break hair tools like it’s nobodys business!) and my hair is a hot mess when i use it. just frizzy out of control and breaking all over the place. for what it’s worth, i wash my hair alot.. almost every day and i blow it out every time i wash it and my hair looks awesome.

I think what you need to look for is a hair dryer that has high wattage.

The one that I use is from Ricky’s NYC (they have a website) called the Revolver. I have very thick, very long hair to the middle of my back, curly hair, and it dries my hair very quickly and I can straighten it easily.

@thehoneybear:oo what brand was it if you dont mind me asking? I am about to need a new one and want to avoid that brand if I can

The one I have is the conair ionic speed styler. I have had it for years and it dries my long wavy thick hair in about 8 minutes. Other dryers took 15-20. Its a good dryer and it was only about $25. Its just not running at full power on high anymore so I think its time for a new one. I dont think they make this exact one anymore but I am sure they have something that is almost the same. The only thing about it was that it had an air intake on the back so it would collect dust and I would have to pop it off and clean it once a week or so

I have very long hair and the dryer that works best is a con-air ionic… the ions help your hair dry faster… CHI as far as im concerned is OVERPRICED! All my stylist friends say NOT to buy chi, they fall apart faster than other brands too

I have a T3 (the kind you get at sephora). You can actually get them on ebay A LOT cheaper.
