when i had extensions done i had to supply my own hair for it. I think it really depends on the salon you go to. I would call places you are interested in going to see if you need to or not. The only thing i hated about extensions is i couldnt wash my hair that much. Goodluck 🙂

I’m getting extentions too and I don’t know much about it, but I don’t think you should do it yourself. It can really damage your hair! I’m having a friend that I know do it. I have to buy the hair myself, but that’s normal. I would keep looking around and you might find someone that can do it for you!

Good luck!

I have been wearing hair extensions for 3 years and I plan on wearing them for my wedding next May. I don’t know where you live  but there is a store here in San Diego where everyone get’s theirs at.  You can get them sew onto clips, or weived in.  It is real hair and they are very affordable at $125.00 per pair.  That is 5 rows of hair on clip-on’s.  They are really skilled at matching them to your natural hair and they don’t charge you for cutting them once you have purchased them.
