you definitely want real hair if you plan on heat styling it.  i use clip-ins from proextensions.com- they’re awesome!  real hair, great quality, and quite inexpensive compared to the others out there.  if you use the code “OMG” at checkout you get 10% off 🙂

@carolinagirl104:  I agree with PP about making sure you get Remy (aka human hair) extensions. I wear a clip-in set from TressMatch.com, they’re a lot better than the ones you can get at places like Sally’s Beauty Supply. Idk if I’m going to use them on the big day or not, it depends on if I can find a stylist whose worked with clip-ins before. Which is also something I recommend!

Hey Carolina, I used hair extensions for my wedding. I LOVED them. And YES use real human hair they are so much better. And look so real. I have really fine, thin, lifeless hair so the extensions really made my hair so full and long. Oh and By The Way, that pic you used was my hair inspiration for my wedding too.  🙂 Here are a couple of pics.

i am getting extentions too. This friday i get my hair dyed and then I will go look for extentions! Was told human hair if you want to curl it is best and to use clip in. Having hair half up like that picture allows them to hide and secure the clip ins alot easier (my hair is thin so I was worried that they would slide out!)

Hair extensions are AWESOME! Many people wear them for added length, but I wear mine for extra volume. If you get real human hair that matches your color nobody will ever be able to tell you have extension. I purchased my clip in extensions from Sally’s Beauty Supply. I believe they were around $100.

@carolinagirl104:  haha I had my trial yesterday and that was one of my inspiration pictures! I have shoulder length hair now so I am definitely doing extensions. You might ask your hair lady. Mine is doing mine for me. She found the colors she wanted to best match and she is going to die them to get exactly what we want.

For all of you saying you got your clip ins online or at Sally’s… do you put them in yourself or pay someone to do it?  I’ve never had them before but want to use them for extra volume on my wedding day – is it easy enough to do on my own?  Otherwise, I hear it can get pricy for someone to do it for you.

Also – I am leaving for my 3 week honeymoon the night of my wedding – should I remove the extensions beforehand or will they be fine?

If you get the clip ins, they are literally on a clip…so you can put them in/take them out yourself. They come with instructions on how to put them in, and where each weft goes…there are also about a million videos on youtube on how to put them in.

I’ll be using clips. They are so easy, I can put them in myself in two minutes And maybe four with no mirror. My hair will be similar to the inspiration photo but not pulled back so much and not as high on top.

@carolinagirl104:  I think mine cost about $100 but it was well worth it! I agree with everyone above. If you plan on heating it you have to get real hair AND if you can’t find a color that matches closely to your real hair, then you can dye them!

I am Def using Hair Extensions!!! I am a hairstylist of 9 years , and I know to get the thickness I want…Hair extensions is the only route. I am going with the best kept secret brand out their. I swear they are fabulous. They are Human Hair and only cost about 100-140 depending on what length you want. EuroNext Hair Extensions from Sallys Beauty Supply. Yep ! Sally’s has the best. You can also color them if you really want a perfect match. They curl perfectly! Hope this helps.
