Human hair can be styled with regular styling products. The curls CAN fall out, just like with your own hair. If you go with human hair make sure you get Indian. Chinese hair does NOT hold a curl well without a perm. Make sure that the extensions are Remi or Remy which means the cuticle is in the same direction for all hairs. Human hair will be easier for you to style and won’t snarl up like synthetic. Something about human hair on top of synthetic on top of your shoulders/clothing makes it more likely to knot up.  But human hair is definitely more expensive. I’m wearing a synthetic wig for my wedding. It’s high quality which makes a difference. No one can tell it’s a wig. Synthetic is nice if you need something less expensive or need style that stays. Synthetic only changes its shape with steam.

Bottom line if you’re only buying it for the wedding then Synthetic is fine as long as it’s quality and pre-styled the way you want. But if you need to make changes to it or you’ll wear it often then splurge for human hair, just make sure it’s Remi/Remy.
