I would suggest looking into the tape-in extensions. I have a friend with very fine and thin hair and she swears by them. I also have a couple friends who currently have the great lengths extensions. These are very expensive but are supposedly the best on the market. I have never actually worn extensions but my friends have tried every kind out there (including sew in). I could almost always see the clip ins and sew ins in my friends hair who has finer, thin hair. Also with sew-ins she couldn’t just throw her hair in a top knot and go because the extensions were totally visible.

My hair is long and thin.  I got real human hair clip in extensions from ebay,  and was very happy with my results. i used them 4 times for different occasions,  including my wedding,  and every time i had spectacular results.  The important thing is to get hair that matches your own precisely.  I got very lucky matcHing my extensions.  The hairstylist should be putting them in for you hiding them well in your natural hair. here is my wedding day hair with extensions incorporated inside:

Cashmere Hair Extensions

Cashmere Hair Extensions work great with very fine hair and hair on the thinner side. All of the clips are silicone coated so no teasing is necessary which will not cause damage to your natural hair. Women even with Alopecia wear our extensions to start growing back their natural hair fuller and thicker.
