I need some inspiration, badly! I would like to have my hair up for my wedding but its so fine i’m not sure what i can do to make it look beautiful.
Any suggestions or pics of what might look nice would be really helpful, i have to go for a hair trial in a week and have no idea what to ask for.

@lpsk: hiya! I have fine hair too and I’ve been struggling with the same thing. I had my hair done for a friend’s wedding recently, and I really liked what they did. It’s really hard to tell in the pics, but they bastically curled it and pinned it up in a “messy” side bun. I think it worked well for my fine hair because the curl gave it some volume and poof. When I actually have my wedding hair trial, my stylist said I could probably get away with some clip in extensions too (real extensions would be too harsh on my fine hair). I may even gets some clip in bangs to make them look thicker too.) So remember fake hair add ins are an option. Hope that helps!
PS: I’m not naked here, just a strapless dress 😛

Thanks FutureMrsBondoI had my hair trial last weekend and she did the side bun thing and i loved it! She said to not cut my hair from now until the wedding to make it thicker, thanks for the tip!

Go with extensions! I have real hair extentions so that they can be curled and I wear them whenever I get an “up-do” to my hair. They are expensive, but SO worth it when you don’t feel “bald” from not enough hair to work with.

I too have fine hair. Curls are the key. I’m growing out my hair, even though I think it looks so scraggly when it passes my shoulders.
My sister/bm is also my hairdresser! Lucky girl! For my trial she tried some real hair clip on extenstions she had but they were horrible. The hair was different from mine so it didn’t blend in. So we are going with what I have and with her awesomeness it will look great.
She has yet to email me the pics, but when she gets around to it I will post them.

Tutorial attached from Youtube. This volumizing hair powder is the bomb for thin hair and updos. Without the stickiness of tons of mouse.
This stuff is different from dry shampoo
This is the brand I use:
Edit: I meant to add that I concur with clip in extensions as well. Use these things together and you will be a full tressed woman in no time! good luck 🙂

I have fine hair! For my wedding i am wearing clip in hair extentions. I picked them up for about $90 and cut and sewed the clips on myself. They are a great way to get longer, thicker hair instantly for any hairstyle.

I also have fine hair, this is all great advice.
@Oneeleven: I’ve heard about the hair powder being awesome!

@FutureMrsMcDermott: Do a trial with the hair powder – I have extremely baby fine hair (tons of it but think cotton candy fine) and my hair hated it and it weighed it down – so is your hair fine or baby fine or fluff?
