Before I saw the picture, I was going to suggest the side facing your guests, but with the style of veil and the hair style, if I were you, I would suggest just wearing the veil for the ceremony and then wear the flower for the reception. I think there is a lot going on with the way it currently is.

I also wore a hair flower and had it facing the audience. I was happy with the look.

I wore my veil (mantilla) for the ceremony and then a hair flower for the pictures and reception. I loved it. If not, it would have been too much going on with the elaborate veil and big flower on my head.

I’d add the flower when the veil comes off. Beautiful!

I wore my flower on the right side, so in ceremony pictures it would show!

Here is a picture:

I would wear it on the right side, so that it shows in pictures.  It’s beautiful, by the way!

I wore mine on the left – away from guests – but the reason for me was a Hawaiian tradition to show you are taken or married. If you are single and looking for a mate, then you wear it on the right.

I plan on wearing my hair flower so that it faces the guests during the ceremony.

Since your veil is simpler than the one you posted, I think you should wear the flower on the side that faces the guests!

Put it on the guest side… it’ll look beautiful in your 1st kiss picture!
