maybe you should see a doctor? it seems that your hair might be falling out before it passes a certain length. if it has been that way your whole life, then there might not be a cure. but if it’s a more recent problem, then nutrition or illness could be the key. especially if it turns out you are deficient in something, or have developed a new allergy. the body can react to food allergies in unexpected ways.

I am having that problem too! I have read and heard that if you massage your scalp for a few minutes a day while laying upside down to let the blood flow to your head, it will stimulate hair growth. However, everyone has a certain length at which the hair won’t grow any longer. It is caused by genetics so there is nothing you can do about it…Just keep trying! Vitamins, exercise, plenty of rest and scalp massage should help for sure 🙂

aww yea i know how you feel, seems like mines taking forever to grow back … i wear clip in extensions. try some vitamins and try to put product in it before you put any heat too it.

I used to have the same problem! I ended up playing around with different products and I found a routine that works for me. I massage my scalp a few times per week. When I wash my hair, I’m really careful about not brushing it. I actually brush through it before my shower so it’s already done. Then I use conditioner on the ends in the shower so it’s easy to comb through when I get out. I also use a leave-in conditioner. I squeeze my hair dry, not rub it with the towel, and I don’t put my hair up in a towel, either. That also prevents frizz. If I do use any heat on my hair, I use a heat protector, too.

That’s just what works for me. It seems like a lot, but my hair is super healthy and it’s growing much faster than it used to. Hope this helps.

i always thought the same thing – my hair just refuses to grow long or my patience is just too short – when i got engaged i thought about taking some prenatal vitamins because my sister would take them when she was in hair school to make it grow… After researching i found out that a regular mulit vitamin will help to so i started taking the up and up (target brand) for women, the once daily mulit vitamin and whether it helped or not, im not really sure but my hair grew… my hair is almost to my boobs now. im so proud

I’m currently growing out my hair now. I always used to have long hair, but bleaching and straightening killed it.

First things first, is you need to determine what type of hair you have. Is it dry? damaged? Frizzy? etc. What you could do (if you don’t mind taking vitamins andor supplements) is take silica (horsetail herb). It helps strengthen hair, skin, and nails. Another supplement you could check out is biotin. It also helps you achieve healthy hair. Of course, massaging your scalp is beneficial as well, to get the blood flowing.

If you want more info on how to achieve healthy long hair, check out this website: http://www.longhaircommunity.com. I’m on there every day looking for tips and it has been amazing for my hair!!!! Seriously! it’s a wicked website.
