Okay, so I thought I knew what hairstyle I wanted (french twist), but now after seeing some other options, I’m not so sure. But I’m afraid my hair is too short for any curly low up-do options. Please help! 🙁
This is my dress:
And here is the hair comb I purchased and plan to wear:
So here are the general choices I’ve narrowed it down to:
1. I like this one best, but my mom thinks it looks too “messy” and doesn’t know how/where the comb would work.
2. Overall, curly low bun.
3. A “neater” variation to #2:
4. The french twist (possibly with all curly hair as an option?):
I never planned on getting a hair trial either, but now I’m thinking I should, just to make sure I like what I end up choosing.
Thanks for your vote!!

I like the first two! They are rather similar so I’m not sure why she thinks the first is messy.

@ MissAsB: Ha I know. I guess it’s because the second one is in a bun shape? And the first isn’t as uniform? I’m not quite sure.

I voted french twist, because I love them, but … three of your options are really similar, and french twist is the odd duck out, so I’m not sure I reallllly think you should go that route – maybe you can show your stylist all three of your low updo pics and let her take a bit of creative reign with it?

@daydreamwanderer: I’ve been so attached to the french twist lately, because I know it will definitely work with my hair length & hair accessories, and it’s relatively neat and tidy.
But I still can’t help but like the look of the low curly updos! My big concern is that my hair just isn’t long enough when it’s curly to achieve those nice full bun looks. If I would get a hair trial, I know he would be able to tell me whether or not they’re feasible. So I guess that’s another reason the french twist appeals to me, because I wouldn’t need to get a hair trial if I went with that option.
Ugh, I just feel like I can’t justify spending $45-60 just to see if my hairstyle would work out.
