I can see why you are obsessed. It’s gorgeous. I too loved the details in my dress and got married on a hot day. I thought I should do an updo since it would be hot even though I always wore my hair down.

My suggestion would be to do a half up/half down style. You Sony take any focus off your dress but you will also feel more comfortable with how you look. I wish I had done it this way.

something like this but either way I am sure you will look beautiful

Gorgeous dress! I think an updo would look great! Especially a vintage style updo. . .

That dress is stunning! I’d do something simple and classic. Think chingnon. But that’s my personal style. You could go a bit bohemian with braids woven into a loose curl updo. Or maybe a side fishtail braid with a flower crown. That would be super romantic.

@dcroninx:  I think you should definitely go for an updo so your hair doesn’t cover your back or the gorgeous details of your dress! I wore the same dress and I had a fishtail bun for my updo – here’s a couple photos:

@dcroninx:  You’re so sweet. You’re welcome and I hope that helps!

Also, I became minorly obsessed with finding other people who wore my dress, because I had a really hard  time deciding whether to wear a bircage veil or a regular tulle veil. Here are some pages I bookmarked with brides who wore Allure 8800:

I am wearing this dress too in August 2013!  Thanks for sharing links to others who have worn it.  I too am obsessed with looking up pictures.  I will probably be wearing an updo with a fingertip length veil.
