I went to get my hair cut yesterday and had to have 4 inches chopped off because my ends were so damaged! I was devastated, I don’t curl my hair, it’s never been coloured and I usually just wash and let it air dry. I spent a small fortune on some Keratase shampoo and conditioner the stylist recommended, and I’m going to start taking pre-natal vitamins.
Does anybody have any tips? I’ve got the thick, jet black Asian hair.

I found this hair-mask recipe on pinterest that actually worked wonders for my hair.
You mix to egg-yokes with two table-spoons of olive-oil and a cup of water. Let it sit in your hair for 15-30 minutes and rinse. Used it on myself and my daughter.
Also heared that macadamian oil works wonders for the hair. But haven’t tried that one myself.

@LadyIrene: thanks for the tip! How many egg yolks in that recipe?

@Tphan: O, haha sorry, type-o. meant to write two instead of to and yolk instead of yokes.

@Tphan: I would highly recommend Silica supplements – it’s amazing for hair, skin and nails – you can get tablet form or liquid, liquid is usually more concentrated – it makes my hair so strong and shiny and makes my nails grow out of control. You can get it at the chemist in the vitamins section.
