Stick with the trail - looks nice and different/done up from my usual hair

Put it up like you wanted to - this was your first instinct and it doesnt look too bad

Go for all down - you know it will look good and wont get ruined

I love the bun on you. You look like a perfect ballerina! My next choice is all down. I don’t love the half up half down. It looks a little prom-ish to me. Btw your hair color is fantastic!!!!

I like the last look. It looks very soft with your face and it looks the most comfortable.

What I prefer when seeing your photos? I prefer your hair all down but your hair up shows your beautiful eyes so brilliantly so that would be a close second. I am not a huge fan of the half up, half down look for you.

HOWEVER, I would personally have gone with what will mostly please my man. Your head is fine and you will look beautiful regardless of your choice. I can see why he would like it up and especially with the veil. I think it gives a measure of sophistication to you. Also, remember that a professional photographer’s photos will look wayyy different than you just using your phone for a selfie.

I think the most important thing with wedding hair is: what’s going to make you the most comfortable?

I like the all-down look.  I think this will make you feel more comfortable in photos.  Your Fiance won’t really care or be upset that you didn’t wear your hair up.

A bun isn’t difficult to do yourself, maybe after your ceremony, formal pictures and stuff you can sneak off during the reception and put it in the bun so it’s out of your way for dancing and such?

I think you should go with how you feel most comfortable and what was your gut first feeling (hair up). The bun looks great and I think when you feel confident and comfortable it shows in your photos. Its also a plus that your Fiance loves it up!

Splodge2003:  girl I feel you 100% on feeling like you look bald with your hair pulled back because I also have a “five head” LOL. Which is why I don’t like to pull my hair back if I’ll be in pictures. However, I think you could still have an updo, you just need to have some volume. You could also have it parted on the side so you get a “swoop” along your forehead. These are some examples:

Splodge2003:  The ballerina bun is perfect, but as a fellow five-header, I know exactly what you mean about it looking different from different angles. I like PP’s advice about trying to get some volume, and I’d set it a little higher too, more on top than in back. I’m sure you can get it so that you’re comfortable and confident, and it photographs beautifully (from most angles, at least).

I think an updo but with a softer front – part your hair like in the last photo and leave it a little looser when you pull it back for the bun. Also, maybe adding some height in the crown to your updo would help to balance out your forehead.

If you decide to leave your hair down, the wavy look is more romantic than the half up look.

Do you have a picture of your dress? I think hair depends partly on the dress. I know you’ve decided, but now I’m curious! 🙂
