I am trying to figure out what to do with my hair for the wedding. I have long hair and thinking about wearing it half way up so the veil will stay. I love the look of some kind of hair jewelry (comb, barette), but I guess would have to wait until the reception to put it on and take the veil off. Did anyone else do this or planning on doing this for their wedding? Does anyone have pictures of anything like this? I go to do my hair trial next week and trying to find pictures!

I think you could definitely do a half-up do with a clip or barette and then detach your veil for the reception. I found a lot of my hair-inspiration photos on Project Wedding. Their gallery has TONS of photos.

@jessie516 great site!!!
@rchel234 have you thought about wearing a formal veil for the ceremony and a less formal (finger tip or birdcage) for the reception? I know in my case my cathedral veil clips right in over my shorter ones and I can easily take it off and just leave the shorter one underneath 🙂
I am also confused as far as my hair!
I am having an outdoor wedding, indoor reception both fairly formal/traditional.
I am wearing a blusher (face) veil for the ceremony as well as a cathedral veil but for the reception I will just be wearing a fingertip veil.
Any ideas for hair?
below are some of the styles I like (I think I want it mostly up?!!)…what do you girls think will be possible given my veils?
