Ok, so my wedding is in a little over three months (yay!) But I’m having major hair issues. So my hair is just a little past my collar bone, and I would LOVE to grow it out as much as possible before the wedding. However, my Fiance doesn’t like my hair “long” (Long is anything past my collar bone.) He absoloutely adores it when it’s just barely touching my shoulders. I don’t know what to do! He’s not complaining about it, infact he says that I can grow it out if I want. But I see that look in his eyes when he says it and I know that he’ll be dissapointed if my hair is long. I want him to love the way I look on our wedding day, making him happy is very important to me. Below are some pics of the style I’m going for. (Yes, I’m aware that there is no way my hair will be as long as one of the pics, just pretend it’s a lot shorter.) If you ladies were in my position what would you do? Thanks!

Is there a style you like that work with shorter hair? Either way you go, it’s not going to look the same way it does everyday, so your Fiance won’t even notice whether it’s at your shoulders or collar bone. By the time you get curls, bobby pins, veil, tiara, whatever you fancy, the length won’t matter 🙂 I’m kind of in the same boat, except opposite! My Fiance likes my hair long, and I hate it! I want to chop it everyday. But I’ll have to suck it up until October if I want to be able to do anything with it!

hair extensions, clip-in hair extensions???

I would do what you want, not what he wants. I am wearing extensions for my day. I dont really care what my Fiance thinks. haha

I was gonna say maybe extensions are the way to go. Or you cant go wrong with 1/2 up and lots of curls!

You can always imitate that look with shorter hair. Something similar to this. Hope that helps a little

Where did you find your pics? Was it a particular website? This is the look I’m going for and my hair is just on my collarbone. I’m growin mine a little longer for the day and have until August but I love the styles you’ve picked. It’s beautiful and will work with your hair the length it is now or longer 🙂
