As a fellow fine-haired lady, I feel you. Let her do the curls as tight as she wants, because they’ll certainly fall a bit in the hours leading up to the ceremony, but add some volume up top and on the sides! Makeup AND hair need to be balanced. Hair needs volume up top, on the sides, and at the bottom. Makeup needs to be more dramatic on your eyes or your lips overpower the look.

You will look stunning regardless! You can rock red lipstick, I’m jealous!

It looks to me like three adjustments need to be made:

Curls need to start higher on your head, as close to the roots as possible. In the inspo pics she has more volume and curl toward her crown

You need a more dramatic set of false lashes! The eyes don’t need more with a bold lip but bigger lashes will give more oomph

Lastly, perhaps a little more colour or sparkle – a little white or cream sparkly eyeshadow in the inner corners of the eyes would work well, and maybe consider a little more blush or highlighter on the cheekbones

I did a red lip and smokey eye, brown tones rather than anything too dark. I also used Ruby Woo so I think maybe your orange jumper is distracting me from the true colour (I do love orange!). Generally I think the make up and hair looks flat but not bad at all. As a curly haired girl I can’t comment on how to improve it (constantly trying to tame mine) but everyone has given loads of great advice!
