I really like the french twist up do! I think its very classy and elegant. You could also look into up do’s when they pin the curls. I had that done once where they curled it and then twisted it and pinned it so it stayed in.

Unfortunately I don’t know anything about working with fine hair.. but I think the first option is the prettiest 🙂

I love the French Twist! I’m not a huge fan of braids, because I, like you, have very fine hair, but a LOT of it, so it tangles easily and can look unkempt in a tousled ‘do. Keep it as chic as possible, because it won’t budge, and you don’t have to worry about losing curl.

I think it will be best to speak to your hairdesser, they both look nice so its down to personal opinion but if its just about holding a style, speak to your hairdresser (assuming you have one for the day?)

I really like the first style. It depends on the feel of your wedding though. If its very formal I don’t think the braid really “fits” the style.

My hair is just like that, super fine but SO MUCH of it, and can’t curl.  I had it done in an updo for a friend’s wedding, though, and they managed to wrangle it into a really nice style!  I wish I could find a picture, but it had a few curls and looked a little retro-ish and everything.  They worked magic.

My main issue is little hairs that frizz out or just don’t like to stick together with the rest.  I love braiding my hair, but there are always wisps sticking out at each turn.  So personally, I’m not sure how well the braided look would work for me, but if your hair behaves better, then I really like that look!

I like the updo better than the braid.

You and I have the exact same texture of hair and I’ve also been wondering what to do since my hair will lose curl within minutes, even if I spend two hours curling it and freezing it with hairspray!  I think the french twist is a great option, esp. if you jazz it up a bit with accessories or flowers.  It will look so classy and elegant, and always looks best on girls with a LOT of hair.  You will look beautiful!!!
