Unfortunately I waited too long to book someone so I am not having anyone come to the wedding location. I’m going to different salons, too, since I’ve been going to the same hair guy for years but they do terrible makeup. Now the question is which do I go to first? Wedding starts at 6pm but I want to be at the location shortly after 3pm. I was thinking hair at 1pm and makeup at 2pm? Salons are about 10 min apart and probably 15 min to location, is this cutting it too close?
Thanks for the help – never thought I’d have so many dumb questions as I’ve come up with in the planning process

Hair first so you do not get hairspray and all sticky on your face. Id give yourelf a good hr and a half for hair. My simple do for my e-pics took about 45 minutes and my hair is a bit past my shoulders. It took about 1.5 hrs for my MU trial too. Just allow yourself a little time cushion incase:)

Defintely do hair first! I would do a trial to make sure you love what you’ll look like on the big day…and allow some extra time so you don’t feel rushed. Maybe hair at 12:30, and makeup at 2:30. Have some loose powder (oil blotting papers work great in place of powder), and a lip stick for touch-ups later on.

Definitely hair first. My stylist told me to plan for an hour for hair, and my make up artist told me half an hour for my makeup (but I’m going for natural makeup- more dramatic might take longer). So I’d say give yourself at LEAST an hour and a half between appointment start times.
I know how you feel… so many details I never even considered starting popping up in the last month, lol.

Hair first definitely. Make up will take less time to ‘wear off’.

Also, with your timings I think you’d be there closer to 4pm as your hair and make up will take a good hour each.
