@MrsLulu:  I’d say find a good leave in oil or cream.  I really like the oils by Organix (just a dab) and my Neutrogena Triple Moisture leave-in conditioner – both are available at any drugstore. Good luck!

@MrsLulu:  Not at all.  I have fairly thin, shoulder length hair and I use about a dime size drop. I do make sure to start at the ends and work my way up so I don’t get too much at the roots

Argan oil (I like the Organix stuff just fine) and blow dry. Work a small amount of the oil into your towel dried hair (squeeze your hair, don’t rub), comb through with a wide tooth comb, part where you want it and comb through with a fine tooth comb. Clip all but a section of hair at the bottom up and blow dry your hair with a round brush (this is one of my favorites) and a concentrator attachment on your blow dryer (it looks like this). With the brush UNDER a section of hair at the roots, put the nozzle right up against it (so you’re basically sandwiching your hair between the brush and the nozzle) and pull down with both. That’s a weird explanation, but you can search youtube for good tutorials–use “how to blow out hair” or something similar.
