im not married yet..im trying to grow my hair for the wedding due to the style i want the day of.. my hair had been just hovering around/below/above shoulder length for over 4 years..and Fiance has only seen it like this.

i DO plan to choppppp after the wedding.. i had no desire until i went to the salon recently for a deep treatment. i used to have a shorter bob and i did love it.. i told him i plan to go back to it after the wedding.. hes totally shocked but i cant wait. 🙂

I don’t have any pics on me right now! But I got married in May and have had about 5 different hair style changes since the wedding, even though I usually never change my hair. I did it because I had to grow my hair out & not touch it for a year and I guess I was ready for a change. I actually got it cut in Cancun on the first day of our honeymoon, the guy didn’t speak English but hey it’s just hair right? Turned out good enough till I got home and got it cut for real.

I’ve gotten it cut, then dyed it dark brown, then dyed it dark auburn, then got bangs, then dyed it light red, then back to medium brown (natural), and then ditched the bangs. Now I’m just enjoying my shoulder length hair & I think I will stick with it hahaha!

I chopped mine off!  But I’ve done drastic hair style changes over the years, so it was nothing new to me.  I was growing out my hair prior to the engagement and then of course leading up to the wedding.

Here’s a TERRIBLE pic the day I went to my stylist

And the next day

I kept my hair the same color as it was at the wedding, because I liked it.  Just made the few highlights I had a bit lighter.  I’m letting it grow out again and will probably lighten it for summer… then change it again. 😛

I’m growing my hair out for the wedding but will definitely chop it afterward.  I’m even considering going the day after the wedding if I have time before our flight for the honeymoon!  I guess I should cut it shorter for the wedding since this is more “me” and I prefer it short, but I also have always wanted looooooong hair and feel like this is my one chance when I have a good excuse and can motivate myself not to cut it!

I’m not married yet but I will do it.  I would do it now, but I am waiting for the wedding because I need to have my bangs more grown out and my hair to be longer for the style I want.  But if I didn’t have to worry about that, I would cut my bangs and cut my hair shorter now!

Yep!  I cut mine into a bob.  It is much neater and more professional.  I don’t even think I have a photo of it down before the wedding. It looked so bad I rocked a bun most days.  This was about 4 months pre-wedding.
