It certainly depends on the area and the quality of salon you go to…in East Tennessee it’s about 40-60 I think

I’d say 1-2 months in advance. Not too far out, that way your stylist can kinda remember how she did it without having to rely on a photo. Almost everywhere I checked it was the full price for the trial as well as full price for the actual day-of, but some places have a package deal.

If you’re looking for an independent hair stylist, seeing how your wedding is in Sept (a popular month) you’ll probably want to lock down your hair stylist soon, because people book up quickly (or at least they do here in NYC). To do that, you’ll probably want to do a hair trial, so if I were you I’d just start contacting people for availability and take it from there.

I think mine was $125? But this is NYC so it is a bit expensive. Toronto might be the same way.

well im in australia and had mine yesterday for 4 hours at $117 , my wedding is in 5 weeks and every other day she was booked out , i really wanted 2 weeks before as i change my thoughts and style to often but im super happy with the final style we came up with

I’m having mine quite a few months in advance, I’m in the UK and my trial is £62 for two of us, but I suspect I got quite lucky.
