I wouldn’t go back there, or at least don’t go back to that girl!  Find someone you are comfortable with who will listen to you!  Where are you located?  Maybe someone here lives nearby and you can get reccommendations?

Find a new stylist!!!  ASAP! lol. This is your wedding not hers!  I hate stylists who tell you what they think your hair should look like.  Your the customer and should get what you want.  Especially for your wedding!

Awww I agree. Go with someone else. If you think someone else from the same salon would be okay, try that. If not and you’d rather go someplace else, look into it. Maybe beforehand just to make you feel better you can talk to your potential new stylist, explain what you want, and ask if they have any samples of hair they’ve done similar to what you’re looking for?

I’m a little worried about the same thing. FI’s family only ever sees up-dos, but I want my hair down…looser curls and romantic. His aunt is doing my hair and I’m sure she’ll be great, but you always just wonder. When you involve friends and family you feel bad IF you don’t like something!

It’s your wedding day, so don’t feel bad about doing what you need to do to feel beautiful.

Just don’t go back. What you’re asking for isn’t rocket science.  Any salon is capable.

Good luck!

PS: just incase you’re feeling badly since your sister gave you the recommendation, don’t. If the tables were turned would you be mad at her for going elsewhere? I doubt it.

Khumble- this hair stylist is not doing your hair. Say that to your self take a deep breath and realize that this is YOUR day. Its funny that some vendors think they can say/do what ever they want. Even, if its a favor. As a makeup artist I have a 20-30 min conversation before the demo to design her look. Its important for the vendor to understand what you want and if they are not doing it and being rude about it, its worth spending the money and finding a real artist.

This is YOUR day! Keep saying that 🙂 GL there are great people out there, promise
