I think you need to find someone else. It doesn’t look like she did much to your hair, and for the money you are paying, it should!

I went with find someone else but I have three words for you: Caruso Molecular Rollers! I have very long, heavy hair and they really curl it nicely.

I do think that if you have thin hair, that the pics you showed are going to be hard to achieve. It looks like the girls in the pics have very thick hair or might even have extensions. But the hairstylist should have told you that! I used clip in extensions to create more volume for my wedding look. I bought clips ins from Sally’s and my stylist dyed and cut them. I would move onto someone better!

Honestly, I would do another trial.  Your hair doesn’t look very bridal or like it has been professionally done.  If you have thin hair, you may want to consider another hair style as well.

As a hair stylist, who does weddings, I think it is a bit unprofessional that she didn’t bring all of her stuff with her that she plans to use on the day of.

Clearly, without hairspray (and lots of it) curls will usually fall flat. I agree with PP’s that you should ask her to do the trial again. I would suggest to her that you’d like more volume in the curls and suggest using hot rollers first.

    Good Luck!

edit: i just saw your previous post. Glad you found someone else to do your hair for the wedding! you should be thrilled with it on your wedding day, not iffy!

I’m a stylist and that is not good at all… this person doesn’t know what they are doing.

I would really advise against this kind of style if your hair is thin.  I’ve seen people do this for weddings and a couple hours later it’s fallen completely flat.  Depending on when your wedding is, your hair could potentially need to hold up for 8 or more hours.  But if this is what you really want to do, I’d have the trial re-done with the right products and see how long it lasts.

I’m going to be honest here so bare with me and please don’t get mad at me.  You are a beautiful girl and your hair looks like crap! I would never let her do your hair unless she will redo it for no charge and make it look like your pictures you brought.

You will look amazing on your wedding day as I said before you are such a pretty girl & I’m sure you want to look your best.

If it was me I’d go to a new stylist all together

I would ask her to redo the hair trial, THIS time with all of the materials she would actually use on that day. Meanwhile, I would go on another trial as a Plan B in case I am not satisfied with her.

If your hair doesn’t stay in a curl you can try a few things (or ask your stylist to):

    1. Hairspray your hair before you curl it

    2. Use hair wax to seal the wave/curl when you are done in lieu of hairspray

    3. Use a smaller barreled curler to keep a tighter hold

Good luck! Post pix next time you try it!

Happy to hear that you have someone else to do you hair becasue the earlier hair stylist really didn’t do her job.
