Some of you might have seen a previous thread where I was complaining about my hair, and how I dont want to hire a hair stylist. I’ve finally come to accept that I may have to hire one, but I’m still trying to play around with it and figure out how I want it.
I’m thinking that for the ceremony I’ll keep it down and curled with my veil. I said before how the veil comb wouldnt stay in my really thin hair. I had the idea to secure the comb with bobbypins, and that seemed hold it in well.
(Ignore my pjs and non makeup face.)
For the reception I have a fun comb/clip that I’m going to wear.
This is the first look I tried. I just pulled the sides back and pinned them, and put the clip in between where they meet.
I’ll obviously need someone to curl the back for me. I suck at getting the back parts curled evenly.
Look 2. Same concept of the first one, but I just pinned back all the, not just the sides. It looks really messy in the back, so I’d have to have someone do it for me.
Look 3. I took all the hair and rolled it and pinned it in the back.
It looks horrible in the back, because I couldnt see what I was doing.
This is similar to how I’m hoping it will be.
Look 4. Pulled into a ponytail and tucked inside. Hopefully those shorter hairs will be long enough to get all the way in the pony tail, or I can hairspray them to get them to stay with the rest of the hair. Also, I’ll get some clear elastics so you cant see it.
I’d also like to note that the butterflies on the clip have wires, so they can be around to find the best placement.
What do you guys think? I’m personally leaning towards the first one, but I’m worried it might start to look messy, because my hair doesnt hold a curl very well.
