You’re so pretty and I think you’ll look gorgeous however you do you hair, but I have to admit I don’t love it either. I don’t like hair pieces though, unless they’re perfectly matched to the natural hair. I think it would look better with a piece that matched your lovely dark hair. I love your natural hair by the way!

I’m a chocolate bee and natural as well, and I didn’t have heat applied to my hair for the wedding. Why don’t you wear a fully natural style? You don’t need to have your hair straight for it to be a sleek look. I wore my hair down so won’t post that since it wasn’t an updo, but here are some nice non-heat up dos.

I just dropped in to say hell no you don’t have a round face- you’re gorgeous. Seriously.

Id love to see you with a long side swept bang and a high bun but not with the pieces you used. And I like your natural color on you better than the colored bangs.

missmarchmommy :  Yeah I figured you didn’t wanna damage the hair before your big day! I’ve stopped dyeing mine and heat styling it, too. That sounds like a good plan and I can’t wait to see how it looks!!!

stefzbee :  OMG, especially that last one! I had no idea you could do an updo like that with natural hair! That’s awesome!

So glad to see a natural hair thread!! I’ve been going back and forth about how to wear my hair!! I really want to wear it down and flat ironed with big curls, but I’m so worried I’ll frizz it up from dancing!! 😩 It’ll be November, so I won’t have to worry about rain. My hair has grown so much from no relaxers so I want to show the length off!! As for your do, I’m sure it’ll look nice the day off, but maybe think about a back up plan in case in case it’s a humid day, since the hair may not blend well.

MeandMyLouboutins :  I had two clip ins at near the bottom, but that was it. I have naturally super thick hair and it was long at the time. A few months after the wedding, I got a tapered cut because I was sick of hair. Intyway, I’m not leaving my pic up because I get into a few debates around these parks lol!

Honestly, I didn’t even click that those hair pieces weren’t your real hair! I think you look gorgeous with bangs, and I love that you compared yourself to a potato – my BMs and I have this rating system that goes from Potato (1) to beautiful French fry (10). You’re definitely a beautiful French fry.

One of my girls has the same hair issue – she’s as white as white can be but she has really super fine, super curly hair. I’m really interested to watch this thread because straightening her hair is really damaging too. She’s happy to do it for my wedding, but I’m thinking it is always easier to work with the natural hair?
