I just got home from my first ever hair trial. I must admit I was nervous about going b/c I usually do not like how anybody does my hair other than myself. However, I know for my wedding I need it done professionally tohold up.
It was a rough morning b/c I couldn’t do my hair which meant NO hairspray and NO ironing it… YIKES!! But off to work I went.
My appt was right after work so I went straight there. I met my stylist Sarah Lamb of Amie Decker Beauty and I even met Amie Decker. I was escorted to a comfy chair and offered some champagne as I showed Sarah my inspiration pics. After about 5 mins Sarah got to work.
She worked for about 20-30 minutes curling my hair and then about 5-10 mins at teasing it and working it with her fingers. And then I was turned around…
Andddd…. I’ll be honest here. I wasn’t in LOVE….. 🙁 waaaa waaaaa But it was curly and very volumonous which is what I wanted. She indicated that it would “fall” a little. She showed me how it would look with my flower. And I left… a little unsure.
I got to my car and still wasn’t in love with it. I took some pics and it started to grow on me and I realized a few little tweaks could be made and I’d probably love it so I put it in drive and flew home to mess with my wedding hair…… And I was right. Just a few little tweaks and I think I went from unsure to sure… Sooo without further adoo here are some pics. Some are with veil/flower and some with just flower. I’ll wear veil and flower for ceremony and just flower for reception.
This was my inspiration pic:

i actually really like it!! It suits you and I actually think it looks alot better the way you have it that in the photo. More natural 🙂 just remember, to keep the curls, that it requires a hell of a lot of hairspray to last a whole day.

I really like it! I think it looks better than the Christina pic. Agreed, you might need to bring some hairspray with you to touch up during the night.

I love it!
But what is important is; YOU should love it!
Can you talk to your stylist?

I think it looks great, especially with the flower!

I also really like it and think she’s done a good match of the curls from your inspiration pic. The only difference is the root volume as Christina has a little more than you. I love the flower 🙂

I have talked to her and we are going to make few minor changes. I am also thinking of adding some extensions for more length. I am having another trial run for us to work out all the kinks 🙂
Thanks so much for your kind words! and no worries I’ll have hairspray on hand
Hairspray will be nearby at all times 🙂
Thanks every, I appreciate the feedback!

i like the curls – I would probably ask for more volume at the crown because Christina’s is a little bigger and messier than yours is. Length seems ok – if you want to extensions could help. Don’t take offense but I don’t like how your bangs are sitting…..I think she should under and over as opposed to over and ontop.

I think the stylist totally nailed your inspiration look.

I love it! it looks great, and really pretty. It’s so shiny and bouncy looking.
Side note, when I scrolled down to see your first pic I was shocked you look so much like one of my favorite actresses, you must get it a lot that you look like Maya Rudolpy (Minus the freckles!)
