I think it’s a very pretty look, but those curls aren’t probably going to last too long! They look dangerously loose! Maybe do some smaller, tighter curls, since they will loosen up with wear.

It’s not bad, but I agree you should bring the volume down a bit.

I read your post and chuckled to myself…I have the same problem with ears that stick out! I think it looks really pretty from the front and back, a little poufy from the sides…

I actually talked to my hairstylist (who is not going to be my wedding stylist — too expensive) about my ear problem.  She has styled many Hollywood stars for movie sets, and other things and she said not to worry.  She said they have used some kind of tape to tape back the ears, and she also showed me a trick where she pulled some of my hair from the sides OVER my ears and secured it on the bottom back with a rubberband and they stayed down! It was not uncomfortable, either.  So there are options, if you prefer to have it all up.

Will you be wearing a veil? The poufiness might not matter as much if you have a veil.

i think the curls are pretty, but they may fall out, the poof looks a little too high, if you wear your hair down all the time and you want it to be a little more fancy on your big day then i would keep looking for another style, there are plenty out there, keep looking at photos and do another trail to see what else is possible, if you have your veil take it with you so you will know exactly how everything will look on your wedding day (or you can take something that would mimic the veil at least)…good luck!

Def bring the volume down. i think it would look really nice with less volume! All the way down would also look really pretty, though, so just go with what you feel the most comfortable with 🙂

I’d bring down the volume of the bump and strengthen those curls a bit, but otherwise I think it looks very pretty on you.

I love it!  The volume doesn’t look bad to me; I really only noticed it in the last pic.  You could bring it down a bit, but I don’t think you’d want it flat against your head either, so leave a little volume!

I think it looks very pretty.  Just make sure they use lots of product so those curls actually hold.

I love the curls but when I went for my hair and makeup trial my stylist warned me that usually curls that are down fall out. I wanted some strands around my face down and they all fell a few minutes after hitting the air outside.

@Treasure43:that depends on your hair…some curls may fall out right away if you have fine hair, people with coarse hair will hold a curl much better…i have thick, course hair and if you put a curl in it itll stay until i wash it or flat iron it.

I’d bring the volume down, and see what they can do about the curls so they don’t fall out. Actually, you’re not alone. I’ll be doing the exact same thing my second trial. The first looked like I stuck a finger in a light socket!

I really like it…I’d tighten the curls like suggested but I wouldn’t loose too much of the volume (it will fall after a bit and won’t look as large).
