I think you’re rocking it and it looks pretty, but I can pretty much guarantee you that in as little as 5 years from now, it’s going to look very dated. So if that would bother you at all, I’d tone it down to make it a bit more classic. The waves are beyond gorgeous, btw! (and not the least bit “unruly”-looking!)

Do you have a picture from the full front? That makes it easier to tell the height, I think. Most of your pictures will be from the front anyway, so that’s the most important angle to have look right.

@futuremrse: I think a veil behind the pouf would help tone it down a little! You probably won’t wear it all night, though, so probably just take into consideration what the hair looks like head-on–I agree with PP that that’s what most of your photos will capture.

I think it looks good! You want to start the poof up towards your forehead more and then you can lay it down a little if you think its too high.

Thanks bees! yes, it does look a little odd from the side. I didn’t get any face front pics. I definitely need to try it with the veil. I just want it to be perfect 🙂 Pictures live forever!

I love the overall look with it, but I do this its too high. So maybe you could ask her to do it a bit smaller because once adding a veil will also create the illusion of more volume too.
