I prefer my hair down and my dear Fiance prefers it up, so I have come up with a sassy compromise.

Why not consider a half-updo? It will keep a lot of it in your face but still allow you to have some hair cascading down as the PP mentioned for a compromise

I agree with the PP maybe a half up and half down 🙂

Heres some mixed inspiration pictures for you so you can look at your different options 🙂

I’ve seen alot of brides having their hair pulled up/back with it flowing down on the side, like its swept over alittle bit.

I want my hair down for my wedding because I am a “always having it pulled up in a pony tail” kind of girl… so I cut it all off so I couldn’t pull it up anymore haha

By the time my wedding comes it should be just below my shoulder so I can have my hair fixed nicely down 😛

I plan to go a couple weeks before the wedding to have the salon I want to do my hair play around with it to see what they can come up with and see what I decide on what I want and will take pics so they dont forget haha

I know, me too.  I just don’t have a long elegant neck and I swore to him, that I have to love my wedding pictures, which means we must compromise.  Althought, he bawked at the idea of me getting my hair professionally done, thought my everyday ponytail/bun would do.  Ahh, silly FI!
