I had my hair and makeup trial a month ago, and after thinking about it, I decided to have a second hair trial. I love the half up style, but I thought it would be too hot in August for having my hair down (i’m getting married this saturday), so I asked for an updo. After going back and forth for a few days, I asked for a second trial.
Here are pictures of the two. I love the second one, with the hair down. I’m just afraid it won’t look so perfect very long, since I have fine hair.
Which one do you prefer?

I think they’re both very pretty! But I would personally go with up so I don’t sweat and ruin it if it was down. TMI but back of the neck sweat is the worst when hair starts sticking to you.

Depends on your dress. I prefer up based on the pics. The down style looks too boho-ish; unless your dress is boho-y then do down!
I wore my hair down & sideswept and it was steaming hot/humid, my hair didn’t move.

I’d go with the updo. I’m not a fan of that particular half down look. It makes your hair look a little limp.

I’d go with the updo! It looks so pretty!

I like both but I also think it depends on your dress style. Up is very chic & understated while down is more whimsical & soft.
If you think your curls won’t last, I would probably go with up.

Both look great! The deciding factor would be seeing how your hair would look with your dress.

Hair up. Both are beautiful but the 2nd style will go flat and limp noodle in no time. Updo is the safe choice, will take you from morning to night without any worries.

I think wearing it up suits your hair’s texture better.

I’m partial to the half up as my hair almost looked exactly like that! As long as your hair can hold curls well, I’d suggest getting some tighter curls or something to make sure they stay a good part of the day. I had hot July weather for my wedding and they started to fall out later in the day from the heat.

I’m actually wanting down for the ceremony and up for the reception. Is that an option for you?

Oh wow! They are both super pretty! Which one do you feel more comfortable and beautiful with? I would go with that one. 😊

I’d go with up if you’re planning to dance for any longer than 5 minutes at your reception.
