Need advice! I have pretty long super straight hair. I use a ceramic curling iron though and it stays really well. Here is a pic of me with my hair like I usually wear it (down, curly, side part):
here is my inspiration pic to wear it down (wedding bee user @meliss. hope she doesnt mind! if you do, please let me know and i can take down your pic.) SOOOOO GORGEOUS!!! my hair is similar in volume, and holds a curl. my dress is strapless (white one 411). so i think it would could turn out to look similar to the pic.
but i am also thinking of hair up, bc it will be mid 70’s where we are getting married, possibly even into the 80’s. and i get hot (my long hair is like a built in scarf!). the church and reception are obviously air conditioned, but still… just the nerves, and rushing to and from the cars and the venues… i can foresee sweating! plus, with dancing at the reception, the hair could be hot on my back and neck…
however, i read a post on theknot.com that said “what is your biggest wedding day regret?” something like that, and smeone had posted that they regretted “not looing like themselves” on their big day. she said she usually wore her hair down, and with casual make up, but for her wedding she wore it up and with diff makeup, and then regretted it bc she looked back on her pics and didnt feel she “looked like herself.”
i hardly ever wear my hair up, except in the summer when it’s hot or if im too lazy to bother doing anything with it. (or running late! 🙂 )
here is my inspiration for wearing it up (I want it loose, and will prob put a silk floral hair clip in side or something): [attachment=1663267,206862] [attachment=1663267,206855]
every time i think i love hair up, i see a pic like the bride above and want it down. every time i think of wearing it down, i see a great pic of hair up! pros are id look more like my usual self and cons are i could be a sweaty mess or uncomfortable.
what do you guys think!?!? im REALLY torn!
please help! vote in the poll, leave a comment, and/or post pics of your own real wedding hairdos!
