I am having the simply toughest time trying to decide whether I want a mid to lower updo or having my hair curled and half up. I think both look good, when I put my hair up I feel like I look really elegant, my mom says I have a pretty neck. But I like half-up too… although curls may fall out… ahh can’t decide!! Here are some pictures of my dress when I first tried it on:
NOTE: I am no longer wearing a tiara, it’s a single row sparkle headband-kinda thing.
Here are some of my ideas for half-up (without a flower):
And here’s some for updo:

I love halfups much more. They have the beauty of being down AND up!

@weddingbound: Ooh thank you! It looks a lot like your hair was, which was also very beautiful 🙂
@aoya: That’s what I think sometimes, updos are very elegant and beautiful, and look so pretty under veils!
It seems liek a lot of people like half-updos too! My poll is pretty tied! It’s a pretty tough call!!

@aranel1002: I’m for the updo on you with your dress – I think it will just be the right touch of elegance to go with your gorgeous dress! Also, if you’re going to wear a necklace, I like pulling your hair up and away from the neckline. But that’s just me! You’ll look gorgeous either way!

i think up goes better with your dress.

@pengoala: Ooh good point about the necklace… I am wearing one, the same one in the photos. And aww thanks, you’re so sweet!! 🙂
@goldlt83087: You think? Hmm. That’s the direction I’m starting to lean… plus if I do an updo I won’t have to worry about curls falling out or getting blown around in the wind during outdoor photos. Hmm 🙂

I vote updo, elegant and if its windy which it could be you are a winter bride it would hold up better all day!

@mishagirls79: Ooh good point, maybe a higher liklihood of it raining or being windy, with it being late winter/early spring. It’s hard because I’d envisioned a half-updo this whole time until recently, I’m hoping I can decide and schedule a trial soon!
Updo seems to be winning in the polls too!
